Prepare a two-page spread in your zine on each of the 10 weekly topics covered. Each two-page spread should:
● Introduce the weekly topic. You should include a definition of how is it described in the literature.
● Identify a designer working in this space and discuss their interaction with the topic.
● Offer a critique of how the topic has influenced the way we think about design.
Complete five complex transformations of an object using five of the weekly topics as lenses (5 pages total, one page per transformation). You should include:
● A critical analysis of object in its existing form. (before the redesigned): who uses it? why? what for? does it have cultural importance?
● A visual of the transformation with a descriptive summary: what changes have been made? how do they relate to the chosen topic?
● A reflective rationale for the transformation process and outcome: why were decisions made? what were they trying to achieve? did they succeed? what was challenging?
You will provide five transformations-one for each of the five orders of design. You should choose a theory from within that weekly topic to use as your lens (you can also choose a theory you've found in your own research that fits within the weekly topic):

● What (described it)
● Who (origins, who is important)
● When (when did it emerge)
● Why (what influenced it)
● Where (where or in which contexts is it used)
● How (how is it used)
The complex transformation of the chosen object through the chosen lens should include:
